Browser should be latest versions of FireFox, Chrome and Opera browsers.
Bandwidth
Low bandwidth may deteriorate audio and video capabilities. Minimum required bandwidth is 100Kbps.
Port Connectivity
Port 80/443 should be open.
Microphone
Need at least 1 microphone to participate in a live class.
Camera
Need at least 1 camera to deliver participate in a live class.
Flash Plug-In
Flash player version 10.0+ required, version 11+ recommended.
Browser should be IE9/FireFox21/Chrome 27 or above.
Which browsers support Virtual Classroom?
Our Virtual Classroom is powered by WebRTC and it works on the most recent versions of Chrome and Firefox desktop browsers. WebRTC is a standard for transmitting audio and video between browsers in real time without having to install additional plugins.
Mobile browsers such as Opera and Chrome on Android is fully supported. iOS devices are not supported at this time and our next release will support it in the near future.
Other browsers such as Internet Explorer, Edge, and Safari may support WebRTC in the future. This link gives you the most up-to-date information about the WebRTC browser support.
What Can I do in my Virtual Class?
You can speak normally to communicate with the instructor and other students. You will view the instructor's slides, desktop shares and interactive whiteboard. You can ask questions, participate in polls, and even work on assignments and activities in break-out groups.
How to use Screen Sharing inside Virtual Classroom?
